~ A Prayer For Those In Trouble ~

God, You stand with us in times present; You carry us through many hardships; You shield us from danger over and over again.Thank You, thank You for allowing us to lay our needs before You now.We are asking for Your help, Father, we are perplexed and afraid. We do not know which way to turn. You, Holy Spirit, helps us in our weaknesses. You search our hearts and answer our petitions that we bring before You even when we do not know what to pray.
God, we seek the courage to face all situations before us. We ask for wisdom to see the way that is right and the strength and courage to take that way.
Lord grant us the strength to endure. We know that You will not allow us to be defeated; we know that we can be victorious through You.
We pray that the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and minds. Through Christ we pray. Amen.

Have You Sought Him?

I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

The Temptation Of Jesus - Matt. 4:1,3,4-10

1) Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil.
3) The tempter came to Him and said, "If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread."
4) Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' "
5) The the devil took Him to the holy city and had Him stand on the highest point of the temple.
6) If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' "
7) Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' "
8) Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.
9) "All this I will give you," he said, "if you will bow down and worship me.
10) Jesus said to him, "Away from, Me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only."
11) Then the devil left Him, and angels came and attended Him.
