We Need Your Help -- Wont You Give?

At MatGloCo Ministries we've accomplished a great deal in the eight years that we have obediently honored the call to provide encouragement, information, and support to our friends and visitors.
But so much more must be done. To continue our work, we need help -- urgently from the people who care about sharing and embracing the Word Of God --- people, I hope, like you who are willing to support us in this struggle.
Think about it. Then think about using our
PayPal Donation Link and giving the largest financial contribution that you can.
You don't have to give until it hurts --- just give until it feels good.
Your contribution will help us expand our resources and do a far more extensive job of sharing the Word Of God with our online friends and visitors.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me,
I once was lost but now I'm found, was blind but now I see.
Twas grace that taught my heart to fearand grace my fear relieved.
How precious did that grace appear the hour I first believed.

An Annointed Sermon From The Lord

Peter's Good Advice
Do you know your adversary?
In the 5th book of 1st Peter, Peter tells us in verse 8 that we are to,
be sober or self-controlled, and also to
be vigilant, meaning watchful.
And he lets you know that the devil is your adversary.
Your enemy, your challenge, your cause for suffering,
your temptation.
That serpent the devil, grinning, licking out his serpent tongue,
inviting you into sin.
Your adversary, who will devour you just like a roaring
hungry lion if you don't resists him by staying steadfast in the faith,
rooted in the faith, so that after suffering the devil's attempt,
(and that's exactly what it will amount to if you do remain
steadfast in faith, an attempt), so that after suffering the devil's attempt
at devouring you, you will be perfected, established,
strenghtened, and settled, to the glory of the Lord.

God is not through with you yet.

Prayer

Matt. 5:1,2 1.) Now when He (Jesus) saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain side and sat down. His disciples cam to Him.

2.) And He began to teach them, saying: Matt 6:5 "But when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men.

Matt 6:6 When you pray, go into your room, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Matt 6:7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.

Matt. 6:8 Do not be like them (pagans), for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

Matt. 6:9-14 9.) This is how you should pray: "Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name,

10.) Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

11.) Give us today our daily bread.

12.) Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13.) And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

For Yours is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever.

Amen.

14.) For if you forgive men when they sin against you, Your Heavenly Father will also forgive you.

Blemished Sacrifices - NO!

Blemished Sacrifices – NO!
Sacrifices of Praise – Yes!

Our scriptures are found in the Books of Malachi; Hebrews; Romans and 1st Peter.
{Malachi Chapter 1:1, 2, and 6-8}:
(1.An oracle: The Word of the Lord to Israel through Malachi (My Messenger.)
(2. ”I have loved you,” says the Lord….
(6.A son honors his father, and a servant his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due Me?” says the Lord Almighty. “It is you, O priest, who despise My name. “ But you ask, ‘How have we despised Your name?’
(7.”You place defiled food on My altar…..

Have you ever gone shopping in the produce section of your local grocery?
Do you find yourself being very selective in your choice of vegetables or fruit?
You obviously want to get the best for your table when shopping.

(7. but you ask, ‘How have we defiled You?’ “By saying, that the Lord’s table is contemptible.
(8.When you bring blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong?
When you sacrifice crippled or diseased animals, is that not wrong?
Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you?
Would he accept you?” says the Lord Almighty.
{Proverbs 15:8} The word of God says.
(8.The Lord detests the sacrifice of the wicked, but the prayer of the upright pleases Him.

What we find throughout our society and throughout the world is man's failure to communicate with the Lord in a way that shows the reverence, love, and respect that is due the Lord from man whom He has created.
We live in a society that wants to ask for the best of everything from the Lord, receive the best of everything from the Lord, expects the best of everything from the Lord, but gives the least of everything to the Lord.

When Araunah the Jebusite saw King David, {1st Ch 21:20} he bowed down to King David and said,
{1st Ch 21:23}”Take it! Let my lord the King do whatever pleases him. Look, I will give the oxen for the burnt offerings, the threshing sleds for the wood, and the wheat for the grain offering. I will give all this.”
But King David had the reverence, love, and respect for God that would not allow him to place defiled food on God’s altar.
King David said to Araunah the Jebusite,
{1st Ch21:24} But King David replied to Araunah, “No, I insist on paying the full price.
I will not take for the Lord what is yours, or sacrifice a burnt offering that costs me nothing.”

We must aspire to be like King David, we must revere, love, and respect the Lord so deeply that we refuse to offer any form of sacrifice to Him that we have not paid the cost for. We must not defile the altar of God.

Paul of Tarsus goes beyond even the sincerity of King David. Paul suggests to Christians that they give themselves as living sacrifices to the Lord.

{Romans12:1,2} (1.Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – which is your spiritual worship.
(2.Do not conform any longer to the pattern of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good , pleasing and perfect will.

By offering ourselves as a living sacrifice to God, we are privileged to know His perfect will for us. And as Peter tells us, {1st Peter 2:4.5} we will be able to offer spiritual sacrifices to God that are acceptable to Him.

{1st Peter 2:4,5} (4.As you come to Him, the Living Stone, rejected by men-but chosen by God and precious to Him-...
(5.You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

And so, we find ourselves holding the key to open the door to the blessings of God through sacrifice. For unlike in days of old when man offered the body and blood of an animal as a sacrifice, we have a High Priest who has made the ultimate sacrifice for us. {Heb 13:11 -16

{Heb 13:11-16} (11. The high priest carries blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp.
(12. And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through His own blood..
(1. Let us, then, go to Him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace He bore..
(14 For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come..
(15. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that confess His name..
(16. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
Amen.

Joshua's Household - The Covenant Renewed

Joshua 24

1.) Then Joshua assembled all the tribes of Israel at Shechem..... and they presented themselves before God.
2.) Joshua said to all the people, "This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Long ago your forefathers,.....lived beyond the River and worshiped other gods.....
5.) Then I sent Moses and Aaron, and I afflicted the Egyptians by what I did there, and I brought you out.
8.) "I brought you to the land of the Amorites who lived east of the Jordan. They fought against you, but I gave them into your hands....
11.) "Then you crossed the Jordan and came to Jericho. The citizens of Jericho fought against you, as did the Amorites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hittites, Girgashites, Hivites and Jebusites, but I gave them into your hands.
12.) I sent the hornet ahead of you, which drove them out before you--- You did not do it with your own sword and bow.
13.) So I gave you a land on which you did not toil and cities you did not build; and you live in them and eat from vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant.
14.) "Now fear the Lord and serve Him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your forefathers worshiped beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.
15.) But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."

Proverbs 3 - The Further Benefits Of Wisdom

1.) My son (daughter) do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart.
5.) Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6.) In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight.
7.) Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil.
8.) This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
9.) Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;
10.) Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
11.) My son (daughter), do not despise the Lord's discipline and do not resent His rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, as a father the son (daughter) he delights in.

Heavenly Father, We Give Praise and Honor to You

Heavenly Father, we give praise and honor to You today and we great you in the mighty and powerful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
In Your Word Lord, Mark 16:20, You said that one of the signs that follows us who believe is that in Your name we will place hands on the sick and they will be healed.
Father, in the name of Jesus, we place hands on those dear and near to us and we claim healing of their body in the name of Jesus.
As You did in Mark 9:25 Lord when You healed the blind man and restored his sight by laying your hand on his eyes, we touch the place of infirmity on the body of one who is much loved and we claim healing in the name of Jesus.
We count it done in Jesus name.
Praise God, thank You Lord, glory to You our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
